This option is for you if you’d like to prepare for birth in community — learning alongside others, sharing experiences, and maybe make a friend or two — while still receiving thoughtful guidance and personal support. Partners (and other support people) are highly encouraged to participate.
Our sessions are grounded in my 4-Pillar Method — Insight, Mindset, Deep Relaxation, and Breath — and shaped by the needs, questions, and interests of each group.
You will learn:
Insight — What makes a birth experience positive — and why this matters beyond “healthy baby, healthy parent.” We’ll explore how the brain and body work together during labour, how to choose a place of birth and care provider that aligns with your preferences (and what to do if it’s too late for that), and how to engage thoughtfully with routine maternity care. You’ll learn strategies for informed decision-making, collaborative communication with your care team, your rights and responsibilities, and how partners can be active, confident supports.
Mindset — Your mental and emotional state deeply shapes your experience of birth. You’ll learn evidence-based tools to work with fear, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and support a mindset that helps you feel more confident and calm — even when birth unfolds unpredictably.
Deep Relaxation — Techniques to stay fully relaxed and calm: how do these techniques work, what the science says, and how to practice them realistically. We’ll clear common myths, build and deepen your techniques, practice with real-life distractions, and develop a practice approach that fits into everyday life.
Breath — Breath is the anchor that connects your mind to your body. We will learn breathing techniques for each stage of labour. You’ll learn how to combine breath with deep relaxation, adapt techniques to your preferences, and integrate them smoothly into your birth preparation.
Timing:
I recommend starting no later than week 33 of pregnancy (earlier for multiples), so you have time to practice and integrate your tools.
Later starts are possible — I can help you adjust your approach if time is short.Your Group Coaching Package includes:
Five weekly 90-minute sessions in small groups (maximum 14 participants)
Pre-recorded audio tracks for home practice (including for partners)
A general practice plan
Carefully curated resources for additional trustworthy information

1:1 Coaching (package)
Currently taking on a limited number of new clients
My 1:1 Birth Coaching package offers five sessions of personalized, evidence-based support for you and your birth partner, focused on the mental and emotional experience of birth and informed decision making. Using my 4-Pillar Method, we work together to help you feel calmer, more confident, and better supported as birth approaches — particularly valuable if you are planning a physiological birth (in hospital or at home), for high-risk pregnancies, previous challenging births, or complex care decisions.
You will learn:
Insight – What makes a birth experience positive — and why this matters beyond “healthy baby, healthy parent.” You’ll learn about how the brain and body work together during labour, how to choose a place of birth and care provider that aligns with your preferences (and what to do if it’s too late for that), and how to engage thoughtfully with routine maternity care. We’ll also cover informed decision-making, collaborative communication with your care team, your rights and responsibilities, and how your partner can be an active, confident support.
Mindset – Your mental and emotional state deeply shapes your experience of birth. You’ll learn evidence-based tools to work with fear, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and support a mindset that helps you feel more confident and calm — even when birth unfolds unpredictably.
Deep Relaxation – Techniques to stay fully relaxed and calm: how do these techniques work, what the science says, and how to practice them realistically. We’ll clear common myths, build and refine your techniques, practice with real-life distractions, and create a personalized approach that fits your life — not an idealized version of it.
Breath – Breath is the anchor that connects your mind and your body. We will learn breathing techniques tailored to each stage of labour. You’ll learn how to combine breath with deep relaxation, adapt techniques to your preferences, troubleshoot in the moment, and integrate them seamlessly into your birth preparation.

1:1 Coaching (individual sessions)
Many people come across my work relatively late in their pregnancy journey. Or they feel like they already know a lot about birth and the maternity care system and just want to add a specific skill or work on their mindset. Or they didn’t have a great previous birth experience and want to work through those feelings in order to change their mindset going into future births. For these, and more, scenarios, I am offering 1:1 sessions (for you and your partner, if you have one) tailored exactly to your needs and preferences.
